Furniture carefully crafted from locally sourced wood — welcome to Mezaforma.

We’re a young Latvian company with deep roots in wood — both literally and figuratively. Founded in 2025 by Daniels and Matiss Bruvers, Mezaforma is the result of a long-standing love for wood, a shared dream of building something meaningful, and the courage to finally take the leap.

While our brand is new, our relationship with wood goes back decades. Growing up in one of Europe’s most forested countries, we were always surrounded by it — planting trees, chopping firewood, building bows, hockey goals, tables, and beds. Wood has been part of our everyday lives, and its warmth, scent, and honesty never left us.

After years of working in IT and office jobs, it took a corporate downsizing and a personal turning point to finally ask: What do we really want to build? The answer was clear — we wanted to create high-quality, sustainable, and honest wooden furniture. Latvia’s forests offer a natural abundance, but we saw untapped potential to turn that resource into long-lasting, beautiful products made with care.

At Mezaforma — a name inspired by the Latvian “meža forma” or “the shape of the forest” — we craft solid wood pieces that reflect the values we live by: quality, sustainability, discipline, openness, and a sense of fun. We're proud to offer furniture and home items made in small series, with locally sourced materials, and without shortcuts. No veneers hiding cheap cores — just solid craftsmanship and attention to detail in every joint, surface, and finish.

We believe in creating real value, not just profit. That means taking our time, choosing the right materials, and never compromising our principles — even if it costs us growth in the short term. Our goal is to offer pieces that feel honest, that last, and that leave as little trace behind as possible when their journey ends.

As a family-run business, Daniels leads the company’s direction and operations, while Matīss focuses on service and marketing. Important decisions are made together — as equals — because that’s how we approach everything: collaboratively, respectfully, and with care.
